I watched Jennifer McGuier's video on embossing stripes and shaker card tips. I love using foam instead of many pop ups. I happened to find some red foam and deciding to give it a try. I've had this candy cane confetti for years, there's probably enough to do 20 or more cards...I like that some of the little stars stuck to the side, I ran the foam through the Xyron after die cutting the circle.
I love this lipstick red card stock, dry embossed with TH brick wall...the cute little sizzlix teddy bear die, sitting on wall is paper pieced, holding a candy cane with a Santa cap on top.
I've been putting a little Santa cap on all kinds of critters and adding a sprig of holly too.
I thought I'd try a bigger shaker card, but it's hard to see the confetti inside unless you shake it. Bits and pieces, presents and bows... so fun.
I'm particularly fond of this little bear standing in the snow...love the MS punch ...tiny little snow flakes.
I love kraft paper too! The TH embossing folder is within easy reach so it's used often.
Having different stations set up for stamping...embossing ..and cutting makes it easier to produce many cards in a day. Having several die cuts ready to apply with in reach makes designing fun.
I cut and score my own card stock opposed to buying cards and envelopes....so I have a dozen or more ready for a topper. I cut quite a few toppers, dry embossing some, cutting out ovals and labels on others... so I keep pulling out different embellishments and layering them until I like the design. Simply ripping mounds of snow out of scraps is fun too. I hope your days are filled with joy and inspiration!
Be well my friend leave a comment and I'll return the favor. Hugs Carole
