Happy Thanksgiving all ya'll. I have time to blog ...because we're going out....I don't need to prep, cook or clean up. That alone fills me with gratitude. For all who work and serve on holidays I thank you. Now onto crafty things.
If you love and use wafer thin dies you've got to watch this.
As soon as I saw this video...before I even commented that I have to try this....I grabbed my scented dryer sheet and pulled out my most intricate doily die and ran it through the big shot with the dryer sheets ...before cutting and then after cutting....LOVE this. I've become so frustrate with the tiny thin dies...even using a metal plate they proved difficult to cut and eject. I tried it again with less dryer sheets. Pictured below shows that a single sheet can work on some machines. So give it a try then maybe share your results. I love a good tip!
Holiday Mail for Heroes has been my on going project since Veterans day. Committed to sharing words of thanks to our military men and women as well as their families. I'll show you with pictures. I'll post them individually so I can add them to my Pinterest Christmas board. This was faster. I may need some help writing personal messages of thanks. What would you say?
Today all I need to do is figure out what to wear to dinner...
Be well my friend
with gratitude and appreciation thank you for the visit. Carole
Happpy Thanksgiving to you! Thanks for sharing the great video.
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas cards are very nicely done!
You are so good to do all those cards of thanks, Carole! They are beautiful. I don't think anything is more heartfelt and meaningful to them than your simple closing of "with gratitude and appreciation [for all you do]." BTW, thank you for that fabulous tip and link!! Hugs, Darnell
