Twins on my Birthday filled me with joy
a beautiful daughter and a charming boy!
Born March 19th - Anne weighed 6lbs. 13 oz. Brent 5lbs. 10 oz.
There I am an Annette Funicello wanna be, with my Mum and G-Mum holding the twins. At 25 years old I was the Mother of 4 kids. Wow! How did I do it? It's amazing we survived. No car seats, seat belts or other safety products to protect us. But survive we did. Not without accidents or troubles... yet we are blessed, healthy and thankful. 41 years later these two are the parents of my 3 grandchildren.
That's my birthday story. Here is a pop up card I received. My daughter knew I would love it and try to recreate it. Isn't it cool?

Up next is a recreated card I CASED from Pinterest. Now I can't seem to find it.
That's all for now.
Be well and craft on! ~ Carole
Happy Birthday, Carole!! And can I just say a) how blessed you were to have such BIG and healthy twinks (our grands were wee'r at birth); and b) you look HOT having just had those babies, Annette!! It was amazing how we managed back in the "old days," wasn't it? Seems like it was leaner times, but a lot less stressful in a lot of ways.
ReplyDeleteMay you have many, many more! Cheers!!
Happy Birthday! I didn't know you have twins! Mine are 8, my how fast the time goes!
ReplyDeleteYou have barely aged...just the hairdo has been tone down...haha. But boy of boy...weren't we rockin back then..ok..you weren't with twins at 25! I remember you posting this pic....a favorite of mine. Has it been a year already! Love both your cards. I guess I will be casing a casing and me not know either. That has happened to me. Yup, I'm gonna have to find the time to case both cards!
