WOYWW 185

Stamping Ground

A choir of little angels is on my work space this Wednesday morning.
It's 5 AM and I'm ready to play. Come join the chaos.

What's on your work space Wednesday?

I just loved the cute little angel ornaments I made with my granddaughter on Sunday and I knew I wanted to make more. Here's the link for the tutorial from Scrapped Lives.

On Monday I made 2 angels using different papers. I love the glittery paper by K&Company. It quality card stock that holds up well for these little angels

The thing with that fantastic glittery card stock is it's difficult to glue. At first I used glossy accents but it took to long to dry, then I used a glue gun on some and tried the Fabric tac on others. Beacon Fabritac works as well as the glue gun but you have to clip it together until it drys, and it's tough to get off your fingers.

I'm trying to keep this short...so if you want to know more... leave a comment
and I'll be happy to answer any questions about this fun and simple project.

Be an angel to someone else whenever you can,
as a way of thanking God for the help your angel has given you.
~Quoted in The Angels' Little Instruction Book by Eileen Elias Freeman, 1994

Thanks for visiting. Be well ~ Carole

  8. What wonderful little angels. I used to make those when I was a kid with my Mom ( that's hundreds of years ago....LOL). I had forgotten all about them, I need to make a quick prototype so I can teach my GDs how to make them.
Thanks for sharing and refreshing my memory

  12. Carole, these little angels are just delightful! My DDIL's sister and family are visiting for a week (at their house) and they have two little girls, one who is seven. I don't know if the twinks will join in, but this would be something fun that Seneca will enjoy. Thanks so much!

All the best to you, my friend, for a Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year!! Darnell #32

  13. Thank you for your visit, Carol, and I agree with you - it's fascinating seeing what everybody else gets up to, isn't it! There's so much variety. I've had another clearing blitz this afternoon and reduced that shelving unit down to one at last!! Still heaps of mess everywhere but I feel confident of getting on top of it all now.

Your little angels are adorable! Very well done.

  14. Aren't they just too cute! Yes! I must admit my desk was in an awful mess so I pushed it all back, and put things in their place ready to use! Plus leaving the things that I'd already used... Have a fabulous Christmas! Happy WOYWW!

  15. Lovely Angels, I have ONE similar one that I once made when doing parchment craft - not that I will revisit that but what a good idea to do some with card etc.
    Wishing you a Blessed Christmas.
