One-Layer Wednesday 100 ~ Transportation
Wow this is the 100th OLW challenge. But last week was my first visit and entry. I should go back and look through the earlier posts, there's always something to learn.
Just last week with my 50% off coupon in hand, I bought this Hero Arts stamp collection. I am so pleased with the precision of these stamps. It almost looks like a printed photo. Funny the collection features a bi-plane, a train, a bicycle, a truck and balloon. I must be tuned in on the thought waves for this challenge. Too funny.
I printed the sentiment on acetate using the mirror feature, then just rubbed it on the card front, stamped the image and it's complete. How cool is that? Now that I'm finished I have time to check out the talented members and design team's cards.

Thanks for looking. Be well ~ Carole
This does look like a black and white photo, Carole! I like the pen-and-ink drawing of it, and how clean and simple you've kept the card.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's an awesome truck image!! You've made a very striking card!!
ReplyDeleteLove this card - and the sentiment is fabulous - I never heard of printing the sentiment on acetate and using it as a rub-on - great idea! I will need to try that!
ReplyDeleteLove the simplicity of this card, Carole, and that sentiment goes perfectly with the image.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the travel quote. The number of times I've brought back unworn clothes and overused plastic from my holidays...
