Card Patterns

Thinking of You
I'm back again with another post for today. I have a play date with the Grandkid's tomorrow, so I wanted to get this in today. I found a new blog;)  Card Patterns offers weekly sketches and encourages you to play along. So I am.  This week the sponsor is: Sparkle She has an adorable collection of rubber stamps. I would love to win this one.

I printed a photo I have on matte photo paper and cut it with SB standard circles, then stamped the sentiment. A simple flower punch mimics the half circles. I tried several  different color rectangles to back the circle that shows on the sketch but it didn't work for me.  So I'll enter it as is. I'm pleased with the finished card. What do you think? Thanks for visiting... Be well

  3. Well, well, well - IF I'm "getting this," the challenge was the bare bones of the example at the bottom that indicates "card patterns, sketch 129." Based on that premise, your result is world's away.

I like what you chose to do with that schematic. The center photo resonates with the horizontal lines of the outward-flowing blues; then an offset by daisy half circles adds the unique touch of the whimsical and speaks to the viewer who is looking out from afar, actually sneaking a peek from the meadow in the foreground! All in all, a window on the world of fantaSEA creativity=Lovely!

Good luck with this challenge and happy creating, Carole!
