WOYW? W #274

To discover what this is all about click the link above and join the fun.

I slept 'til 8 am. and Our Woman's Club board meeting is today so this will be brief.
Inspired by a graphic in the Sunday cartons I reproduced this fun design for a masculine card.

There [top of the pic] is that long packaging angled cardboard that protected the corners of the file cabinet I ordered. I cut off a piece and using the hot glue gun, wrote out WOYWW. I was just playing around...I'm not sure what will develop. I'm not even sure why the empty ribbon spool is there...I sometimes have a difficult time discarding something that I might find useful at sometime or other.

That's all for now...I'll be happy to return a visit if a comment is left. I only have an hour to snoop around but I'll be back this afternoon.

Be well ~ Carole

  6. You found some great inspiration for a card....I also know that "might" come in handy for something...so I keep it "just in case" and then wonder whay my craft room is over flowing with stuff...(and stuff that after years still not have figured out what to do with it. I think it's time for another purge! Smile...

  9. Yep we are on the same collectors page, you just never know when the inspiration will hit and you need that item and can't find one, so hang onto it, that's what I would do. I really like the look of that card with the flowers on it and the other one with the top hat etc looks interesting, I haven't seen that one before.

    Have a great week crafting

  11. I am hopeless at throwing stuff away - hence I have a massive fabric stash - one of these days I will clear out the rubbish but I bet the minute it's gone I will find a use for it! x Jo

  13. I think the empty spool might make a nice base or stand for something.

  14. Ha Ha!! I love your masculine card! So, so clever, Carole!! And I'm loving that daisy card, too! You are one of my crafting friends that I'd like to be stuck on a desert island with! You could make a rowboat out of water bottle and two palm leaves or something!! Hugs, Darnell
