Blue is one of my favorite colors...and it doesn't make me blue...it makes me think of blue skies and tropical waters and those are happy thoughts.
I started by gathering some blue scraps, then embossed, punched and die cut some pieces until I was satisfied with the layout. That took quite a while, next time I'll start with a sketch, at least I'll have a plan. In fact I just saw one on Pinterest that looks inviting. Time to play!
Want to come along and play blues....check it out at "Just Us Girls"
I'll look for you there.

Carole, this card is beautiful! Love the textures, the layers, those paper pieced love birds! Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI'm absolutely blown away with your design here Carol...I can see the love that you put into it, (so very proud of U)...what makes it so beautiful is that it looks effortless...composition is wonderful and the theme, LOVE, is endearing...the recipient would also be blown away, truly.
ReplyDeletePeace and much Love OX
Fabulous use of punches and dies to create this card! Thanks for joining us at Just Us Girls :)
ReplyDeleteTow fab cards. I am loving how you are getting the best out of these embossing folders...I don't use them enough and now inspired after seeing yours the past several days. Aren't you clever to use these on all the challenges! I'm at the beach with just my iPad so can't comment easy and I'm certainly not making anything. Now that my son is somewhat settled back in college and when I get home from my vacation with my girlfriend, I'll be back in the saddle and making cards. Yup, been awhile since I made some cards...family duties..haha
