Preparations for a craft day with 18 second graders.
WOYWW # 205 I like to snoop in on other crafters...do you?
Want to play along? Okay click the link above and find out how to join in on all the fun.
My 8 year old granddaughter Rylee asked if I would show her class mates
how to make a birdhouse.
FYI: The teacher acknowledges each student in the class by assigning them a week to shine. This is Rylee's week. She gets to choose what she wants to read out loud,
what craft they will do, and other various privileges. That's all I know.
I'm thrilled that Rylee wants to share my craft with her classmates. I was informed that there is 30 minutes available to complete the project. No pressure there.
To keep this brief I will include the details in my next post "How I did it"
After I post this I'm going snooping...I want to see What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.
Be well ~ Carole
looks like a busy desk

ReplyDeleteGreat work desk Carole and how lovely for Rylee that she has the opportunity to 'shine' at school. The project you've put together is fabulous i bet the children will love this and the joy of having a little bird house will be a memorable event. You will have planted a lot of crafty seeds which I' m sure will blossom as the years go by x

The birdhouse is beautiful and you are so sweet and brave to do this undertaking, but I would do it to from my grandchild. I do projects with a class of special needs students (9 of them). I hope you have some extra hands to help and some extra glue. I'm so excited how it turns out and will be waiting for the report. I just love to see the energy and eagerness on young faces.
ReplyDeleteG'day Carole
