WOYWW #248
The how's and why's and what for's can be found here:
There it is...my desk. It seems that I work on 2 or 3 things at a time. One thing leads to another. As an inspirational thought comes to mind I pull out embellishments as reminder that I want to use them. Then there's drying time...
Using the SCAL Basic shapes Library and strips of scraps... I cut several of these one inch simple shapes....glued 3 layers together... covered them with a thick amount of glossy effects and sprinkled with glitter. Glitter me happy...their so cute...right?
I used the Sizzix Dogwood die as soon as it arrived. I had to have it as soon as I saw Chrissie"s card and the birthday presents die by W+9 design studio I saw somewhere...I should have pinned it for quick access.
My cuttlebug is ever ready to cut or emboss around the corner to my right. I really love using scraps to make these charming embellishments and the glue pen works best for these little cuts.
Thanks for visiting. I'd love to hear what you have to say and any questions can be left in the comment section.
I have a board meeting this afternoon but I'll be checking your desks as soon as I return.
Be well ~ Carole
I need to work on more than one project at once too, always handy to have something else to go to when one lot is drying!! Your cards look beautiful!

I always have a few things going :) so that is fun to see. love your little glittered pieces too. Stacy#86
ReplyDeleteYou are not the only one that works on more than one project at once, I think we all do it. Love those glittered embellishments. In answer to your question, yes I do know everything I have and I know where it all is. Well we moved the room around, so I lost a few things but hey I am getting back to normal now. Thanks for visiting.

Cute little gallery shapes. I like stacking 2 or 3 shapes too, makes a nice heavy shape.
ReplyDeleteLove the cards in the background, especially the long flowers.
Have a great week

I like all those glittered shapes on your desk. They will be fun to play with and it looks like you have great ideas on what do with them. You have the best die cuts to play with. Judy #92
ReplyDeleteLots of fun things happening on your desk! And love Chrissie's card too! Happy WOYWW!

Fabulous die cuts Carole!

I work on several things at one time, too. Something always seems to be in the drying stage, another in the cutting stage. Lover the glitter critters.
ReplyDeleteYes, indeed, Carole, your little sparklies are so fun and cute!! But, oh, man, I sorta wished I hadn't stopped here coz I see at least two more dies that I need to have. You see how you paid that forward?!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteI think it's difficult to work on one thing at a time. My brain is telling me all the time, make this! make that! if I don't start it while it's fresh in my mind I might miss out on something special lol!

You're not alone! I usually have a couple of things on the go in sewing, knitting and crochet...no matter how much I try to 'finish one project before starting another' - it simply doesn't happen!
ReplyDeleteSo I don't try to stop it now, I enjoy being surrounded by things on the go!
I adore that dogwood die - the card in the post above is just beautiful :-)
Hugs, LLJ 44 xx
