Simply Less is More Masculine #2

"Less is More"

This week the theme is one for the chaps! So they want to see a MASCULINE card. Any aged chap will do as long as the card is for the male gender!

I'm back with another card for this fun challenge. When inspired...go with it! Right?

The manly leather-like scraps embellish this masculine card. I used SCAL software to cut the sentiment using Segoe Script font. This font welds easily and it's not to fancy so it cuts well.
The paper is Communique from Graphic 45, it seems perfect to communicate this message. It's a similar layout to the other 2 Nautical cards...cause it worked...and I got to add the gold stripe this time.

I have several of these charm-like die cuts. I love to use gold foil scraps to cut them...in silver and gold. I have several keys as well as the anchor and ships wheel on hand, so when I'm making a card with a relevant theme there ready to go. I also cut scraps to utilize the smallest bits...especially specialty papers. I'm very thrifty and love to recycle.

I'm wondering if both the cards I posted yesterday will be eligible for this challenge...or do they have to be posted separately? When I tried to link the second one...I received a message  stating that - that link address was already posted.

I think I will donate these cards to go to soldiers...any ideas? Please advise.

Thanks for visiting. Comments are appreciated and I will return the favor.
Be well ~ Carole

  6. This is such a wonderful tactile guy card, Carole! I'm only familiar with Operation Write Home, which has a web site. I mostly donate soldier cards through our local clubs, so maybe there is something similar where you are. Either way, it's a great cause for your wonderful cards! Hugs, Darnell
