What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 224

Snoop snooping time...look at this chaos...Julie Dunnit understands she has layers. I need to push everything aside to cut anything. I was rooting through my papers and pulled this fantastic textured pumpkin orange paper out cause I knew I wanted to work with it using autumnal colors.

After cutting down to 6" squares I covered the base of 2 cards. Then I punch the pieces for flowers, leaves circles or whatever...

Pumpkins and scarecrows, ghosts and bats... throw in some leaves and cheese cloth....mix it all together and this is what happens. I'm having so much fun with the cheese cloth.

to my left..embossing powder, heat gun... glue....

to my right...

joyful...disobedient mess...now where did I put my scissors? I'll be snooping and asking ???? What does your space look like???and how do you photographer your project/cards? How do people cross out words they type??? I just want to know.

All tidied up...I'm expecting company tomorrow. A few more shots on top and below everything within reach.

Any questions??? Did you see my light bulbs? Come join the fun...find out what you need to know here:

Be well and snoop on! Carole

  2. I had thought about taking my laminate flooring scraps to make a table top and then thought that toooo easy. Now I see your awesome desk looking like it was made out of parque flooring? I'm going to remember this when we move and I need to see up a new craft room. PS.....love peeking in your space. Yup, you REALLY get into it. I don't think I remember seeing that particular ghosty card. I'm so loving the cheese cloth idea you have inspired me with the other day and today.

  3. I think the different textures in your work really make all the difference! Clever idea! And your area looks very inviting to work in :-)

  5. Hi Carole - thanks for popping by - when you are posting on blogger there is a "toolbar" between the subject line and the page. In the toolbar it gives you a number of options such as choosing your font size - underlining or scoring through text - you type your word[s] then highlight it/them with your mouse then click on the score through symbol and it will put the line thru what you have highlighted!! Easy peasy... have a great week hugs Mxx #82

  7. Such spooky fun there! I love how you used cheesecloth! I will have to try that! Hubby complains that I take foil, waxpaper and other stuff from the kitchen all the time and it goes to the stamp room and then I replace a batch in the kitchen. Last week it was the lunchbags! Such a great space you have there! Winnie#83

  13. Wait a minute! Did we just go from chaos to clean all in one post? That's too much for me. I think I liked the mess better as there was more to snoop around in plus I like Halloween so that was a fun mess to peek in. Now where did you put my scissors?Your scissors are right there. What does my space look like? Boring crap on it that I've been ignoring for days. And how do I photographer your project/cards? I put them up on the bins of stuff to the left of my desk and turn the desk lamp on for illumination. It's not the best but it will do. How do people cross out words they type??? When you are typing a new post, look up at the toolbar at the top of the box you are typing in. There is a B for bold, I for italics and an ABC with a line through it. Pick that last one and you'll get crossed out words.

  20. Great Halloween card and a really nice clean crafting space. I use the strikeout ABC that is next to my fonts button in the compose mode when posting, if that helps. Belated WOYWW

  21. You have a great workspace. I need to become a proper photographer like you. I tend to lay things on a little white table and depend on the sunlight. Happy WOYWW (still making the rounds)! Sandy Leigh #33
