I haven't played along with any challenge for quite some time...but I'm ready after seeing this great sketch by Cindy H. The sketch is the link so check it out and join the fun. My idea was to make a non traditional Valentine with a more adult theme.
This card came together surprisingly easy. I started by pulling out my scraps and strips of black, silver and gray. It's hard to see but the middle strip is black glitter and the bottom one is a shiny strip I cut from some lovely packaging.
Well as long as I had these black and and white scraps out I kept playing. Using a
1 3/8" square punch and a 1 1/2" black strip I made the trio of squares. The center square has the black glitter behind the smaller printed square. With all the hard angles I added the swirl and circle to soften and finish it.
Thanks for visiting and I'd love to hear what you have to say. Be well ~ Carole
