I've heard crafter's say they can only do one project at a time...not me, I have 3 to 5 tags laying on my desk that I'm working on...pulling out different elements and embellishments and then get distracted by another idea.
Here is a magazine I folded, over 200 pages plus advertisements...3 time per page...using a bone folder to get crisp creases...easy mindless repetitions.
Spray painted gold... then glittered... using spray adhesive...left to dry for several hours.
When I brought it in on my desk...this brilliant idea presented itself...a perfect display to feature my gift card tags.
I am totally amazed when I lose all track of
time and the results produced... come together like a great plan. What do you think? Do you have angels guiding you? I'm pretty sure I do.
Placed on a gold charger this displays over 18 gift card tags (or more) in a space just 12"round. I'm delighted. I sure hope they sell. Perhaps a lazy Susan would help viewing them in the round.
Thanks for visiting. I'd love to know what you have to say, so please do leave a comment, I promise to return the favor.
Be well ~ Carole
Oh My...I remember doing that years ago and you have rejuvenated it. Wonderful! Yup, that's you, doing several things at once.
ReplyDeleteHi Carole, this is great - love it! I'm the same, several projects on the go..probably why I can never find anything on my desk, lol Carole Z xx
ReplyDeleteHi Carole. Your folded Christmas tree is beautiful in all it's golden glory ... but it has a dual purpose and a great way to display your tags! Great job! Loll xx
ReplyDeleteWell, I get distracted doing just one thing at a time, as you know, so I'm mega impressed that you can multi-task! Your tree is magnificent, Carole!! It would be a wonderful table top decoration when it's not being used to display tags at the sales!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteFab idea! Love folding book pages I find it a very meditative calming activity. I use one of my folded books to hold the Christmas cards I receive. Hugs
