MUSE #30

Muse

Now here's your Monday Muse, Therese Calvird

Therese's used inks for this dramatic card but I've been wanting to try blending some watercolor pencils so  this challenge suggested an opportunity to give it a go.

I need some practice blending...I'm afraid of making it muddy looking. It's surprising how when viewing a photo on screen the imperfections are so clear. I couldn't get the water drops that make Therese's card look like sparkling stars, so I tried using Glossy Accents.
Oh well it's a start and I definitely want to try it again, maybe even after I clean up the mess I made. I'm tempted to ditch this one but I won't.

I'll keep this post short before I change my mind. Be well and craft on~ Carole

  1. Gotta say that blending is addictive and so much fun especially with these gorgeous birds, I'm so glad you decided to share. Love that you have added the glossy accents, how clever!
