JUGS #155

Just Us Girls

While visiting Colleen Dietrrich's blog I found this Photo Inspiration Challenge
interesting. I love the color combinations, and I wanted to play along.

After seeing this adorable card by Chrissie , I remembered that I had the little teddy bear die forgotten among many sizzix's dies from years ago. Starting with the pale creamy vanilla paper and using little bits of suede paper in the tan and blue I made the border, banner and t-shirt for teddy. Covered all the colors by using the chocolate again with a circle to put the star on. Just three dots of black puffy paint for his eyes and nose completes this youthful boys birthday card. So cute.

Dies used: Spellbinder's banner basics three and the oval. Sizzix  star and teddy bear with t-shirt. SU: word punch, and harlequin embossing folder by provo craft.

“ If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart, I’ll stay there forever.” Winnie the Pooh

Now I have to get to work. Thanks for your time and interest. I do respond well to comments, thank you.
Be well ~ Carole

  2. Carole, thanks for the link back to my blog! Your teddy bear is ADORABLE. I want to pick him up and give him a hug. Great use of those colors and they make the sweetest youth card.

PS, that Winnie The Pooh sentiment makes me cry!

  3. Your bear is so sweet. Love the "jean pocket" banner. And the scoring on the wallpaper is a great detail.
