CFC62 Take 2. The designer's cards are so impressive I had to try another card and a technique. Stickle trim and gold embossing enhance the bright saffron color of these Black-eyed Susan's.
Yesterday while I was out running errands my eye caught a garden full of these beauties, and that's when I noticed that they're brown center pops up. Well I knew that... but the card I posted before-here, does not show that centers popped, so I was inspired and got to thinking how to make them look authentic. I folded the die cut and rounded the brown center, added a dimensional dot walla! Popped up centers.
Since I already had my daisy die cuts out and another black card base, so one more daisy card. I love the black polka dotted ribbon. Hugs and smiles and the card is done.
Gayatri, an amazingly talented designer at CFC posted this card. That's the link. I just love the clear embossing on the black with the pop of neon for the sentiment.
Looking through the few stamps I have to find a suitable image to use with this embossing technique I chose this silhouette stamp and frame both from Gina K Stamp TV.
This was difficult to photograph but you can see the couple dancing. "What a marvelous night for a moon dance " would be the perfect sentiment for this card.
After inking with Versa Mark, adding the clear embossing powder and heating it I used the negative space of a circle punch to sponge the moon. Not all the ink rubbed off the emboss resist area but I still like the effect.
I'm not sure if I can enter all three of these cards or if they have to posted individually, but it doesn't matter. I was inspired and had fun creating them.
