WOYWW # 249

Stamping Ground WOYWW #249
What does your desk look like? To find out more and show us your desk, just click the link and join the fun.

Pictured here is a Leprechaun trap almost complete. It's the second one I made today.

My grandson Wyatt told his Dad that he wants to make a Leprechaun Trap with Nana. Well spark my creativity and the luck of the Irish has SVG cuts offering this fantastic cut file for free. I watched the video, downloaded the free file and started pulling out papers to make the cuts. I haven't had this much fun embellishing 3 d paper crafts since I did the bird houses. SVG Cuts face book page has the link to download the file. It's pretty simple to assemble and super fun to embellish.

Here's the ladder made from balsa wood. So the Leprachaun is enticed to climb the ladder to access the shiny gold coin hanging inside the doorway...but when he steps in to grab it...he falls into the box...trapped because there is no floor. I've used little battery operated lights inside to light it up. I had so much fun creating this and I so look forward to having the opportunity to watch my grandson assemble and decorate one of his own. I've also cut another copy of this file for my granddaughter...she might like to make her's a fairy trap with pretty soft pastel colors and butterflies. Stay tuned for updates. I'm going to go check on my favorite deskers now, so leave a comment and I'll visit you too!
Happy Snooping and be well ~Carole

  2. How cute is that! I LOVE the idea, and may just have to make one for the GDs since they won't be here before St. Paddy's Day.

You always have some of the best ideas, are you on Pinterest? You need to be with these fantastic things you make.

Thanks for stopping by this week. Don't forget to show us what you DS made with his Leprechaun trap.

  17. I'm super impressed with your Leprechaun trap. It's especially noteworthy since today is St. Patty's Day (which means I'm super late). Your attention to detail is impressive.

You asked if I would like a rocking horse. You know I would NEVER turn one down. Now I just need to find your e-mail address.

Happy very belated WOYWW from #7.
