Emergency Crafters February Challenge

One of my blogging buddies...Carole always leaves a nice comment on my posts, so while scrolling through her blog I discovered that Carole is on the design team for this challenge...Emergency Crafter'sHer card features an adorable zentangle stitched Valentine card. So clever... go ahead check it out. Perhaps you'll be inspired to play along.

The February Challenge is to use red or pink....well it just happens I was working on a this Valentine for my 8 year old granddaughter...Rylee, she loves everything pink.

I cut the bicycle in two shades of pink and attached the one on top with dimensional tape. The white flower heart wreath was an after thought... to cover a smeared ink spot. Oops! Then I had to add some more flowers for balance. I'm sure Rylee won't mind at all. I printed "You tickle me pink" using the mirror image option ...onto a sheet of acetate, then I just rubbed it on the strip of white paper. It was while I was inking the edges that I smeared the card. So designs by mishaps proves interesting.

On a different note:  I received an email from Pinterest suggesting there was a problem and I needed to change my password. After changing my password I noticed some of the cards I'd pinned were missing...curious right?  Has anyone else had a problem with that? There was even another board added.. misspelled to boot- titled  "Greate job". I noticed it this morning when I added a few new cards to "my hand made cards" board. The cards and the added new board showed up on FaceBook. Very strange. I checked my settings but saw no way some else can change my boards. Let me know if there's something I'm unaware of.

I've also noticed that 2 of my followers must have removed themselves. I hope I haven't offended anyone. I'll take this opportunity to thank my followers I really do appreciate your interest and comments, and I will return the visit and let you know I was there.

So thanks again and be well. Hugs ~ Carole

  1. Darling card! I have that bike die. It only used once. You have given me inspiration of new ways to use it. No, I haven't had any problems like you have spoken of. Good luck!

  3. I'd be suspicious of the Pinterest account. Did you follow a link to get there from the email? If so, be extra suspicious. I love this pink bike card! So cute! And great save to cover the smeared ink.
