For what ever reason plaids remind me of school... so naturally I chose one for the background. Not having very many sentiment stamps I used the computer to print this black board message, then I smeared some chalk to make it look real.
I framed the black board with kraft card stock and added "chalk"...oops it looks like it's unrolling.
The little apple punch is 3 layers glued together then coated with glossy accents for some shine. The design was looking a bit dull until I added the star. And there is my assignment complete and turned in early...

ReplyDeleteThis is very clever and very cute. Yes, for some reason the plaid reminds me of school too. Maybe since so many elementary students now have to wear plaid uniforms. Clever way to do the chalkboard itself, by the way. PS...going to write you a personal note .
