WOYWW #208

I've been playing with this wonderful gold card stock...gold through and through. It embosses beautifully. I used a versa mark pen to ink the indented design on the embossing folder then sprinkled it with gold embossing powder. The gold on gold is subtle, yet like damask it's elegant.
I up cycled a cracker box by spraying the a 5'X6" piece with adhesive then placed it on aluminum foil. This embosses great too! The keys are SB dies and the anchor and boat wheel are from MFT.

My camera battery needs charging so I can't post a close up. That's all I got.

I missed last week on WOYWW cause we're busy finishing details for the Woman's Club of Royersford Fashion Show and Luncheon, that will be held this Sunday.  We sold 61 tickets...wow! I invite your return visit next week, when I will post the results of our fund raising attempt.

A graduation card for a friend receiving his PHD from Clark University. The inside view shows a pocket to add a note or cash.

I'm going snooping, you never know what you'll discover.
Be well ~ Carole

  13. I’m sorry to be late in visiting but I’m now on day four of my quest to get round everyone this week. I know it’s going to take some time, but I wanted to say that it’s amazing that the internet can bring together so many likeminded people and I’m grateful that WOYWW has also brought along so many new friends, thanks to Julia.

Well, you certainly have been playing Carole and there’s nothing better than when a plan comes together…..those keys look fab. Loving the Graduation card too, very clever.

Enjoy your weekly snoop, especially as we’re celebrating WOYWW’s 4th Anniversary
    Happy Crafting!

  14. Hi Carole,

The embossing on the gold cardstock is amazing! I've read about embossing aluminum foil but haven't tried it yet.

I arrived home late Wednesday night so this is the first opportunity I've had to sit at my computer and visit desks. Isn't it exciting -- four years!

    Happy WOYWW

  15. That gold with the embossing is too cool. I really like the metal look without the weight. I made a graduation card with the same folds. Great looking card - so unique. April #125
