Gratitude and Envelopes of Many Sizes

What you see before your eyes is a wonderful collection of envelopes crafted with wall paper. This beautiful array of  envelopes... many large enough to insert a crocheted cross wrapped in tissue paper, were left between the screen door and the locked door, without a clue as to the giver and maker of this lovely assortment. It makes one curious, and ever so thankful. An anonymous gift...perhaps.

The photo above shows the largest envelope. It is so beautiful and tactile. I immediately thought to reinforce it with a plastic insert. Using a 12" X 12" sheet of clear plastic cut to fit. I damped the wallpaper using zig 2 way glue. It adhered nicely/

Perfect to carry paper work and notes  concerning the Fashion Show and the Woman's Club of Royersford. Our letterhead with board members listed will look fantastic as we introduce ourselves and make a request.

Are you able to see the rows of stitches? I might be keeping that...that is I'll use it to contain something special.
