Stickers are fun & Lil' pink camper

I love step cards, there is the ability to add layers and elements and loads of dimension. It seems I can never make just one. If I'm cutting several layers for different cut files I will always make 3 or 4  duplicates. How about you?

I finish off bits of scraps by punching these little flowers or leaves like shown here, so I always have a large quantity of flowers available... made from scraps...handy!

I discovered that I have quite a collection of stickers. I've gathered them together in one 3 ring binder, separating them by theme or category and placing them in clear plastic folders. I only buy stickers when they are on sale...and always with the idea I will recreate some of the elements for future use. I guess what I'm really doing is hoarding them. Oh for shame.

Anyway I've decided to keep them readily available for finishing touches on my cards. So often  I bring home my treasured purchases and put them away...then totally forget I have them. It sure was fun gathering them together and trying to record them in my memory as well as the files. It's fun  to look through our stash...getting organized and inspired. I add the tiny little bumble bees on the awning, then added a little green bird. Too cute.

Now here's a look at a few cards that I have finished with some silver chain and outline stickers.
Sort of like an up grade.

I've posted these card before, January 22nd. You can see the before photo here
and here: I think the stickers dress them up a bit..like jewelry or accessories.

Here I added the long stemmed rose sticker.

It's the final note, the icing on the cake...tadaaa!

  2. Oh that camper card is soooooo cute! It's a great little scene. Yes, why not use stickers to embellish? Seems to be the trend right now.
