Thank you thank you very much

cfc84
It's always a good idea to have several thank you cards on hand, and even better to send them. Seriously it's delightful to receive personal mail, and a card of thanks...how great is that. We all want to be appreciated and acknowledged. Right? Well I'm on a roll. Wanna come and play along...here's the link:  CFC 84
This card is probably a bit fussy to consider it clean and simple but I had fun making it.  I was inspired by this card I pinned for future reference. Click here:
One thing led to another and this is what developed. Similar yet different and complimentary.

With the white on white layers on this card any color for the back ground will work.
This next card I will enter in the CAS-UAL Friday challenge. I was trying for a masculine card after all the flowers, butterflies and birds.

I love this feather, using a craft knife patiently slicing from center out, then distressed the edges with ink. A very textural and masculine feel.

Update on my wire figure. I really have no experience with sculpting but I'm letting this little one develop on it's own...slowly. I'm using torn strips from an old book, elmer's glue and a bit of water. I will need to let it dry thoroughly between layers to avoid mold in the future. I have an idea in my mind but I'm unsure how it will turn out. I'll keep you updated.

My song of the day goes like this.... I'm just a sole who's intentions are good.....
Lord Please don't let me be misunderstood.
Do you relate songs to issues you are facing???
Does a song get stuck in your head? Is it relevant?
Who knows? Just keep on crafting!
Be well ~ Carole

  1. Hi Carole. Your flower spray cards are all so beautiful ... love the ribbon detail - very unique!

And your masculine card is texture +++. Love the handmade feather and the embossed background. Great colors.

Definitely I get songs stuck in my head all the time ... don't know why ... don't think they are relevant to what's happening, just something "catchie"! Sometimes they are stuck there for days! Loll xx
