Canvas, Cork & Burlap Take #3

The oh so-trendy use of canvas, cork & burlap
This is all about texture.

For this card I covered the base with the woven paper using Fabri- Tac glue to insure the bond. Again a strip of corrugated paper, edged with a strip of gold scalloped lace. I  punched 6 - 5 petal flowers then, layered, inked, shaped and attached the 3 flowers with  some leaves. I die cut the flourish and cut it in 3 pieces to attach were I pleased. Finished off with a bright white vellum embossed butterfly. I love it. I'm thinking about framing one of these textured cards.

Well that was a whirlwind off creativity, three cards completed, and it's only 12:30 pm. I love them all.

  3. I love all three as well. But I have to say that my favorite is the one with the turquoise birds. Love that little pop of color.
