Just playing along with Mojo Monday 250 There are many elements in this sketch and trying to figure what sizes would work took several cuttings. But I'm pleased with how it turned out. As always picking what papers to work with is the first step, along with the occasion you have in mind. I decided to make a get well card and use the stormy skies paper set I downloaded for free.
Robyn Meierotto designed the stormy skies paper. (a free download from Design House Digital) DHD offers beautiful digital paper collections that are so affordable.
I embossed the first layer mounted on black card stock - doesn't it look like slanting rain? I used 3 of the printed papers from DHD and then used silver, grey and blue. The blue umbrella looks striking against the grey's, and the white flower with the blue center works so well...don't you think?
Well I've been playing all day but now I need to get some sleep - I babysit the grand-kids tomorrow and must get up by 5:30 a.m..
Good night and sweet dreams. ~Carole
