Get Well Sylvia

I learned that my neighbor was hospitalized with ammonia and I wanted to make a special card just for her.

Robyn Meierotto designed the stormy skies paper. (a free download from Design House Digital) DHD offers beautiful digital paper collections that are so affordable.

Their many designers create paper collection for any theme or style you can image. Plus they offer freebies. Wow!

I'm so delighted with this story skies, the grey and aqua colors are trendy and versatile. I printed it on card stock for the layer and then on copy paper to make an envelope liner. That's another reason I love digital papers, you can print it on either- depending on how you want to use it.

Glossy Accents was used on the dark clouds for dimension and to make rain drops falling off the umbrella. A ribbon and a button to finish it.

On the inside a pop-up tissue box. So fun and simple. The butterflies create a bit of whimsy. I used a stencil to print the sentiment, and added the punched sunshine. It's sure to make Sylvia feel better, or at least feel special

Sending you Sunshine too. Thanks for visiting.
Be well Carole.

  1. That pop-up tissue box is such a cute idea! I love the umbrella with the sweet satin bow on the handle, too.
