Hearts and Flowers

Love is in the air...and I see hearts everywhere. So  why not make some Valentines? This is my version of a card from splitcoaststampers...that I recently pinned, The card caught my eye and I knew I wanted to recreate it. Here it is in a brilliant lipstick red. The white looks so crisp all punched, embossed and embellished. I thought it would look sweet in pink....what do you think?

Another card I saw on Pinterest I just loved was from
 Dawn Griffin.

She is so talented and offers loads of tutorials and techniques. Any way her card featured two hearts as male and female...a picture is worth a thousand words... so this is what I'm talkin' about! Too cute...right? Dawn's card has congratulations on the front but I thought it would be great as an anniversary card too. The black white and pink card features a pop-up keyboard and sheet music. I printed Happy Anniversary and a simple verse between the music lines
My computer is having difficulties and the blog has changed it's format. Just when you think you know what you're doing...everything changes.
Sweet is the smile of home; the mutual look, When hearts are of each other sure. John Keble

  1. Great snag! Vos venit te vidit te creavit and besides the Latin that means the same thing, I mean this: You came (to Pinterest;) you saw (the hearts;) you created (such a loverly 45th anniversary) - when will we EVER get our sister to follow you and drop in on your blog? Perhaps the question is better phrased this way: Does any 1st born follow ANYone? Regardless, the special spin you've done with these creations is wonderful good! Brava!
