What's On Your Workdesk ? Wednesday 247

Julia is the hostess of this fun adventure in seeing what other crafty people have on their desks. Curious...aren't you? So go ahead and click on the link, then join the snoop around the globe.

Pictured here you can see that I've been playing with inlay-ed die cuts...most are done using  SCAL soft ware and my Cricut. The floral steel die is from Memory Box.

Here is an apron template I'm working on for the Woman's Club of Royersford...
100th Anniversary. We found recipes from past members... in an archived newspaper article...so the idea was to present them as a favor at the celebration in April. I came up with the idea to use an apron as the cover, and print the recipes on cards that will be tucked in a pocket on the back of the apron.

Our club colors are blue and white so I'm trying to come up with the most cost effective way to print them. We are having a tea and plan on dressing in period apparel, hats and gloves, or poodles shirts... what ever was worn in any of the last 10 decades.

I found the vintage kitchen stamps at our local craft store for $2.00. Perfect for adding some interest to the recipe cards.

So that's what's keeping me occupied on yet another snowy day. Why not join the fun and show us what's on your work desk. Be well my friend and thanks for stopping by~ Carole

  15. What fun tea bits and bobs...thinking the apron will also be a very cool finished project. I love the memory box die as well...I had such trouble getting them to release until someone suggested I put a piece of wax paper between the die and the paper. Works like a charm! Thanks for stopping by the Fun Room. Hope you have a good week. Sara j #43

  25. After a disastrous week and weekend, I'm finally able to stick my head above water long enough to return your visit from last Wednesday. I'm super impressed with the tea cups and pots. They look like something I need. Of course, I'm a bit envious about those vintage kitchen stamps, too. Lucky, lucky you.
