Hugs and Bugs

Are worms bugs or insects? Aren't all bugs insects? Either way I'm not all that fond of bugs or worms...but this coloring page I happened upon is just too cute. I couldn't wait to color it. Next time I will try colored pencils. I paper pieced different areas, and layered them for added dimension. Top coated with glossy accents for shine and depth. I feel like a kid again, playing with paper making Valentines...sure is fun.

That's all for now. I have a planning committee meeting this evening. We need to organize... a Spring Tea and Fashion Show. We hope to make this an annual fund-raising event to benefit the many charities our local Woman's Club sponsors. We'll be making invitations, menus, party favors and decorations, more crafting fun.
