5 Little Angels

Anything but a card #8

After making so many cards for Christmas I wanted to go 3 dimensional.
Come join in and play.

Here are 3 angels bringing joy. I used the squares die cuts from windows - as a base for each letter. I attached lace on the bottom to make them seem to float on a fluffy cloud. I used white netting to stuff the sleeves and the skirt, just to finish  adding some support and to cover glue dots and smears.

I used a fine marker for the dot eyes, but they have smeared from handling. I need a fine tip sharpie.  The fuzzy pink haired angel was the first sample angel I made.

Changing papers and adding details makes this a fun project, even for a 7 year old.

I want to give every one an angel - but I would need help. It took 2 days to complete these 5 little angels.

Angels can fly because they carry no burdens.

  3. This is WOW....that had to be soooo much fun. I'm glad you told us how long it took. I hope I get a grandchild before I'm too old so I can make things like this. Heck, I bet some other children like me would love to make these.
