CFC64 This week's winner will be next month's honored guest, and win a $25 gift certificate to Simon Says Stamp.com I would love to win anything from Simon Says Stamp. But probably not with this card.
I love the design teams examples yet I found I was drawing a blank. I would love to make cards just like the DT's yet I don't want to be a copy-cat. Birds -clouds- sunshine- balloons -butterflies- and rainbows-it's all represented so well by the entries- I wanted to come up with something different.
This is it. I first tried heat embossing the plane on white card stock, using the negative cut. No good. Then I tried it on black, not much better. The third I just used the cut-it's not all the good either but I'll play and learn as I go. I like the idea -I love you - to the moon - and back and this is a masculine card- but the last step I decided to use Perfect Pearls to create a glow around the moon. Not so clean. Oh well sometime things work some times they don't. I'm letting this go now but maybe if I have time I'll try again.
